Zumba for Zillions

FEBRUARY 6, 2010
This successful and fun event raised over $1000 for Esther's Pantry of Our House!!

Get energized with Zumba!
The word zumba is Spanish slang for "move fast and have fun." Newly popular from coast to coast, Zumba is a high-energy workout paired with Latin music and dance. It's cardio-intensive, ridiculously fun - and it comes with the invitation to “move your hips” and “shake your booty” with no shame, judgment, or embarrassment!

Support a great cause!
Zumba for Zillions benefited Esther's Pantry of Our House. Esther's Pantry provides food and personal care items to those living with HIV/AIDS. A vital community program, Esther's Pantry has served thousands of people over its 25 year history.

With instruction donated by DeAnne and Vilio
Zumba for Zillions was led by two very energetic and motivational Zumba certified instructors, DeAnne Hardy & Vilio Marin. This couple has been dancing together for over 8 years. They met when partnered together in their Mexican Folklore dance troupe and have been burning up the dance floor together ever since. Go to www.portlandzumba.com to find out more about our instructors.

To wear
Wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable for all types of movement. Typically sweats or leggings with t-shirts or tanks are great. Zumba has a lot of side to side, front and back, twist and jumping movements, shoes conducive to these types of movements are recommended. Barefoot is NOT recommended.
