An adventure in FUN while raising money for Oregon Food Bank
Joy Adventure Club event, Hula for Moola, was held June 27 in Old Town Portland. This event was a joyful adventure in HULA HOOP with Hoopnotica instructors and 100 women coming together to let loose, have fun and support our community.
This event was featured in the Oregonian. You can read the article about the event on OregonLive.com.
Thank you!
We are especially grateful to Rose City Sound & Lighting who donated equipment that made our event possible and for Groovin Megzz (find Megzz on MySpace and YouTube) and Renee from Hoopnotica who offered their time, hoops and AMAZING talent for our fabulous group. The event space in the Goldsmith Blocks was donated by David Gold and Howard Davis.
From our attendees:
What a wonderful celebration and fundraiser! I am so grateful for such a lovely, playful, creative, energetic, interesting, and powerful group of women. Your first event was a smashing time. It was great meeting so many new women and coming together for joy and purpose. Thank you all, and I so look forward to the next event.
- Rebecca
Thanks to you and the JAC crew for doing this. What a creative, generous and fun thing to give to Portland's community of women.
